Bennie Lambert is the Vice President for Student and Organizational Development at North Harris College, an 11,000-student community college in north Houston. He has also served as Director of Admissions, Registrar, Dean of Enrollment Management, and adjunct faculty. Before that he worked for Baylor University in Waco, TX holding the positions of Academic Advisor to Athletes, Assistant Director of School Relations, and Administrative Assistant to Baylor President, Dr. Herb Reynolds. Dr. Lambert is a highly sought motivational speaker. The community organizations to which he has contributed his time and his talents include: The Community of Faith Church, Leadership North Houston, Junior Achievement, and Special Olympics. Dr. Lambert has also served on the board of directors of: the Arthritis Foundation, American Red Cross, YMCA, and Boys and Girls Club of America. Bennie Lambert earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business and Educational Psychology from Baylor University, as well as his doctorate of philosophy in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University. Last spring, the Black Professional Cowboys and Cowgirls Association Inc. presented the “Living Legends Award” to Dr. Lambert. In addition, Lambert received the “Young African American Achiever of Houston” recognition award in the same ceremony with the first African American Mayor of Houston and “Super Achiever”, Dr. Lee P.
