Gail Hand, known to her Grandmother Lottie as sheina madela sugarpuss was reared in both New York and California.

Gail is a motivational humorist, author and trainer with 20 successful years in Corporate Sales & Management.

Corporations such as American Express, Southwestern Bell, Macy*s, and several gourmet cookware manufacturers garnered Gail 3 rookie of the year awards, 10 leadership awards, and a strange award for a pet multimedia presentation.

In 2003, 2004 and 2005 Gail received awards for her Diversity Workshop at NACA West.

Gail is the author of the book; The Power of Laughter, Seven Secrets to Living and Laughing in a Stressful World, and 2 others in the series.

Over 500 Corporations, Universities and Associations in 38 states and Canada have been host to Gail on the power of laughter, stress management through laughter, leadership, team building and diversity.

Gail is a Certified Laughter Leader with the World Laughter Tour and a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader with Laughter Yoga International. She has led Laughter Clubs and Laughter Therapy groups in venues from schools to hospitals and companies around the country.

Since 2005 Gail’s career and laughter clubs have been featured in numerous national publications, and every major t.v. network along with local new radio programs in Portland, OR. She has also been a regular humor expert on AM Northwest and quoted in Women’s Health and Fitness magazine on Humor and Health.

Gail is past President of the Oregon National Speakers Association, and incoming board member of the Association for Applied Therapy on Humor. She has also been an active member of the National Association of Campus Activities, and is listed on the NCAA list of Health and Safety Speakers utilized by over 4000 campuses nationwide. 

Gail lives in Portland, OR with her two Chihuaua's Zippy and Zoe who edit her blogs and her YouTube Channel.
