Gail Hand, known to her Grandmother Lottie as sheina madela sugarpuss was reared in both New York and California.
Gail is a motivational humorist, author and trainer with 20 successful years in Corporate Sales & Management.  She received degrees in Marketing and Buying & Merchandising from Fashion Institutes in San Francisco and New York City.

Corporations such as American Express, Southwestern Bell, Macy*s, and several gourmet cookware manufacturers garnered Gail 3 rookie of the year awards, 10 leadership awards, and a strange award for a pet multimedia presentation.

Gail is the author of the book; The Power of Laughter, Seven Secrets to Living and Laughing in a Stressful World.
Over 300 Corporations, Universities and Associations in 36 states and Canada have been host to Gail on the power of laughter, stress management through laughter, leadership, team building and diversity.
Her latest solo show “Hello Bubbela” premiered in Portland, OR in 2005.  The show, inspired by her larger than life small Bronx matriarch, Grandma Lottie Hand, is destined for Broadway.
Gail is a Certified Laughter Leader with the World Laughter tour. She has led Laughter Clubs and Laughter Therapy groups in venues from schools to hospitals and companies around the country.
Since 2005 Gail’s career and laughter clubs have been featured in the Living Section of the Oregonian, The Hollywood Star, Multnomah News, Northwest Living, The Columbian, and Just Out publications.  She has also been a regular humor expert on AM Northwest and quoted in Women’s Health and Fitness magazine on Humor and Health.

Gail is past President of the Oregon National Speakers Association, and incoming board member of the Association for Applied Therapy on Humor. She is also a member of the National Association of Campus Activities, Association for College Unions International and the Canadian Organization for Campus Activities.  She proudly holds a frequent wash card for her dogs at Beauty for the Beast.
