Some people need to hear about teamwork, others need to head about leadership. is your group actively engaged in the mission and values of the organization? Are there people in your organization being held back because of their own limiting belief systems? Do you wish they would be more creative or take some risks? You Are The Weakest Board Member!: They agreed to sign up. They were nominated. They were voted in to office. They forgot just one thing - there would be work involved. Now they don't return your calls. They tell you they haven't seen or received your emails. Has your leadership team forgotten their roles and responsibilities? Are you, the leader, struggling with motivating your people to take your organization to the next level. This highly interactive session is excellent for incoming leaders and board members of association and other volunteer groups. Follow the Leader Was So Elementary School. Or Was it? (Leadership/Professional development/Employee Engagement) It was a simple game we played in Elementary School. One person was chosen as the leader. All the children lined up behind that leader, he or she moves around, and you follow and mimic whatever the leader does. If you fail to follow the leader?s actions you are out of the game. The last one remaining is the new leader. Fast forward a few years. One person is chosen the leader and then all hell breaks loose. It doesn't have to. This program is ONLY for organizations that are serious when it comes to encouraging risk, creativity and innovation. Park The Donuts. Recreate the Community! (Teamwork/Leadership/Health & Wellness/Motivation) Obesity. You can't get away from it. It's one of the biggest health issues in today's world.
Are you willing to "out" yourself to the world as being fat, while at the same time offering leadership and hope. This program will design a fun community based experience to better health Ideal program for Park & Recreation and Health Care Organizations. Keep Whining! (Employee Morale & Engagement, Personal Development and Motivation) Whining really does get a bad rap. We tell employees to stop whining. We tell kids to stop whining. We tell our friends to stop whining. We tell customers to stop whining. There are shirts, signs, plaques and buttons that suggest people stop whining. Well I disagree. I disagree so much that I have figured out a way for people to use whining to become better employees, employers, parents, partners and friends. And this is your opportunity to see how whining can be used in a way to help you or your group pursue your personal and professional dreams. So next time someone asks, "Are you done whining?", tell them "No!" This is an audience participation program. Participants walk away with the new productivity tool of whining! I'm Not An Accountant! (Finance & Accounting for Non-Accountants) Rich has taught sunflower seed salesmen how to prepare a budget. Rich has taught travel agents how to read a financial statement. Rich took his Big 8 and Corporate Accounting experience and taught a CPA Review course. All had one thing in common - it was done with fun and humor. The review course administration will forever wonder how the words accounting and fun ended up in the same sentence on the instructor evaluation. Do you need to teach your non-accountants a little bit of basic finance? Give Rich your material and he'll create a program that will get them not only to understand your bottom line, but increase it! This is just a sampling of Rich's programs. If none of these excite you, although we don't know why, Rich will design a custom program just for you. By now you probably get a good feel for Rich and what he can do for your organization. The bottom line is this.........If you're looking to increase employee morale and productivity, engage and motivate your leadership, or just offer your group some "fun with a message", you need to look no further. Testimonials The "Buzz" on Rich "I want to thank you for your inspirational and motivational educational sessions at our National Recreation and Park Association conference in Seattle this past fall. From the participant evaluations it is clear that your message was well received and people truly enjoyed your delivery. Your speaker ratings clearly resulted in your being added to our list of "Power Speakers." Since this is the premier education opportunity for the park and recreation industry, it is critical to have a solid, high-quality education program that meets the needs of all membership groups. You were instrumental in meeting our needs and insuring a high quality experience for our delegates. " "Rich DiGirolamo is no 'run of the mill' speaker - Rich breathed life into our program. I had yet to see our workshop participants totally engrossed in the program until we included Rich. The "fun" element introduced by Rich let our participants know that there are other ways to do things - even the "same old things". I highly recommend having Rich participate at your next participation - we certainly will be inviting him back!" "I joked with Rich that I was going to write a book entitled ?How to get more out of life according to the hard ass?. After working with Rich, I felt I could. He was a hard ass alright, which is exactly what I needed. He pushed, prodded, and was relentless in his quest to make me strive for more. Thanks to Rich, I have a new job that fits me instead of me fitting it, I have a positive attitude, and the word "fun" is back in my vocabulary. Life is good." Your presentation was focused, insightful, and most importantly fun. You captured everyone's attention with just the right mix of seriousness and levity without becoming cliche'. What an outstanding job you did! Your message was received well by all. We appreciate all the education statistical research that you did before addressing our group. We would warmly welcome you to speak again. Overall I would say it was an unqualified success. So much so, in fact, that we had many requests to repeat the program which we did. He displayed a great deal of spontaneity and enthusiasm!

A Man of Many Hats (the beanie is his favorite) As a speaker, teacher, entrepreneur and accountant? Rich takes his diverse background to guide you to become a more powerful, energetic, profitable individual, team, association or business. My past experience includes time with a Big 8 Accounting firm (are you old enough to remember when there were 8?), as an assistant controller of a start-up division of one of the largest privately held corporations in the world, and several years with small businesses. So if you're wondering if I'll have a clue............ I just want you to know you're hiring someone who has lived the "cubicle" life; who understands business operations. After putting down the accounting pencil he taught a CPA review course and was a finance and information systems recruiter. The regional management for the CPA review course will forever remain puzzled as to how the words accounting and fun could end up in the same sentence on student evaluations. Rich is the founder and creator of Recess At Work Day and is a heck of a nice guy. Booking Info: Gail Hand |
